Donald Freking Pottery specializes in producing hand thrown deocrative pottery and functional stoneware. We take pride in our various and unique techniques including salt fired pieces. Don creates his own glazes and they are lead free. The pottery is all dishwasher and mircowave safe. Each piece is truly a one of a kind piece of art and makes an excellent gift for holidays, weddings and any special occasion.

Mr. Freking is experienced with elemenatry aged children and welcomes pottery tours due to the pottery's historical value which we take pride in preserving.  He also specializes in classes designed for local day care centers and has creative summer pottery camps. Adult evening classed in beginning and advanced wheel are also available.

Mr. Freking is an award winning potter. During 2007 he won  awards at the Riverfest Art fair in Canton, GA and the Chiaha  Art Festival in Rome, GA. During 2008, his artwork was selected in a Nationally Juried Exhibition in Mableton, GA. Two of the nationally juried pieces are availble for sale. See our catalogue.
