Donald Freking Pottery specializes in producing hand thrown decorative pottery and functional stoneware. We take pride in our various and unique techniques including salt fired, reduction fired and electric fired pieces. Donald creates his own glazes and they are lead free. The pottery is all dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. Each piece is truly a one of a kind piece of art and makes an excellent gift for holidays, weddings and any special occasion.
Mr. Freking is experienced with elemenatry aged children and welcomes pottery tours, due to the pottery's historical value which we take pride in preserving. Since opening in 2006, we have been visited by many special groups from Senior Citizens to Boy Scouts. Call us to set up a time for your group to come by. See our Opening Time tab for more information on what else is happening at the pottery!
